After enjoying a successful modelling stint with several beauty pageants such as Miss Andhra Pradesh 2010 and Miss Hyderabad 2008 in her kitty, Nandini Rai made her silver screen debut in 2011 with the Hyderabadi comedy ‘Family Pack’ and earned her first break in Telugu cinema with Neelakanta’s ‘Maaya’. After playing the leading lady in multiple languages, she grabbed the eyeballs of many with a short-yet-fruitful stint in the second edition of Bigg Boss.

From the past few months, Nandini has been tirelessly shooting for back-to-back projects in Tamil and Malayalam. After wrapping up consecutive schedules in Kerala, Bengaluru and Chennai, she has finally got a much-needed break to spend some quality time for herself and her loved ones.
Opening up on her daily activity during self-quarantine, Nandini Rai told E Times “I stay alone at home with my four dogs. Due to the prevailing lockdown and corona scare, I even told my maid to stay safe at her house. So naturally, I got myself busy with all the household chores like cooking, cleaning, washing and all other stuff.” Speaking about taking care of her dogs, she said: “Besides feeding them, I take them for regular walks on my terrace as going out can be risky.”
The leggy lass also urged people to know that there is no case of domesticated animals spreading Coronavirus and people should not abandon their pets for fear of infection.
Revealing that she has been practising meditation for the first time in her life, Nandini said “Besides regular workouts, I made it a habit to try out some yoga postures in the evening. I am listening to a lot of music and catching up on all the evergreen classics in Telugu cinema.”
Hoping that the COVID-19 pandemic will be eradicated as soon as possible from the world, the Hyderabad-born actress recently made the headlines when she along with Ashu Reddy and Himaja distributed hand gloves, masks, sanitizers and other essential things to the municipality workers who are working tirelessly to clean our streets. She played her part in the noble initiative and bagged praises from all quarters.
